The rugged northern landscape provides much of the inspiration for David Wiewel’s photographs. White Trash Ink. subjects encompass the natural world, urban landscapes, people and other ordinary and extraordinary objects.
White Trash Ink. photographic art is created by Sudbury, Ontario photographer David Wiewel using Polaroid cameras and film.
The photographs are created by manipulating or "painting" the surface of the Polaroid image while it develops. This process creates an abstract, impressionist look.
Limited edition photographs are only available in one size and the editions are kept to only 15 or 25 in number.
Unlimited edition prints are available enlarged in a choice of four sizes,as cards made with homemade paper and as fridge magnets.
