The Maple Leafs yesterday signed Kevyn Adams to a "freedom-25"
contract.
If the 24-year-old centre doesn't play regularly for the Leafs
this coming season, he'll qualify as an unrestricted free agent next July
1.
After spending the entire 1998-99 season in St. John's, Adams
wound up dressing for Toronto's final seven playoff games.
